Entry Requirements
Undergraduate Study
To be eligible for admission to undergraduate programs in the Faculty of Science, applicants must have:
- completed upper secondary (equivalent to Australian Year 12); or
- Foundation Year; or
- studies at a recognised tertiary institution; and
- satisfied course and other prerequisites; and
- satisfied English language requirements.
Credit for Previous Study
The Faculty accepts applications for advanced standing/credit transfer towards its programs based on prior studies at international institutions. Students are welcome to submit a formal application for further advanced standing/credit transfer.
Postgraduate Study
To qualify for graduate study at UQ, applicants must meet the admission requirements for the particular program in which they wish to enrol.
Generally, a Bachelor degree or Bachelor degree with Honours from a recognised tertiary institution is the minimum requirement plus an acceptable standard of English language proficiency.
